\n Carleton to Host Premiere Documentary Screening on Jesse Stewart\u2019s We Are All Musicians Project\n <\/h1>\n \n \n <\/header>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

Carleton University will host the premiere screening of Rich Tapestries<\/em><\/a>, a documentary by filmmaker Hasi Eldib about Prof. Jesse Stewart\u2019s<\/a> We Are All Musicians (WAAM) project. The documentary follows the inclusive community music work of WAAM over the course of two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When<\/strong>: Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 3 p.m.
\nWhere<\/strong>: Second Floor Atrium and Theatre, Richcraft Hall, Carleton
\nInfo<\/strong>: This event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Media are invited to attend the event and are asked to RSVP to claire.lewis@carleton.ca<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rich Tapestries<\/em> follows Stewart, a Juno award-winning artist, and the WAAM project\u2019s inclusive approach to music-making. Rooted in the belief that music is a human right, WAAM has made an impact by facilitating accessible music-making initiatives with communities that may otherwise experience barriers due to socio-economic circumstances, musical inexperience or disability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The screening will be followed by an interactive audio performance, a question and answer session with Stewart and Eldib, and a reception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
