Through a presentation and panel, guests will be offered practical information on what to look for in the final days of the 2019 federal election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The panelists will draw upon their deep expertise as respected political journalists and commentators, discussing key ridings, polls, political strategy, leaders debates and information sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Media are invited to attend the event and are asked to register in advance by contacting <a href=\"mailto:CarletonRSVP@gmail.com\">CarletonRSVP@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When<\/strong>: Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, remarks begin at 4:15 p.m.<br>\n<strong>Where<\/strong>: Second floor conference rooms and atrium, Richcraft Hall, Carleton<br>\n<strong>Info<\/strong>: A campus map can be <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/campus\/map\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">found online<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event will feature a presentation by alumnus David Coletto, chief executive officer of Abacus Data. An expert on generational changes and millennials, Coletto will make a short presentation on polling results and trends of the federal election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expert panel will be comprised of Jo\u00ebl-Denis Bellavance, award-winning reporter and Ottawa bureau chief for <em>La Presse; <\/em>Heather Scoffield, economics columnist for the <em>Toronto Star<\/em>; and Prof. Christopher Waddell, former director of Carleton\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/sjc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">School of Journalism and Communication<\/a>.
