The lecture will be given by the legendary Canadian comics creator who publishes under the name of Seth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The talk will incorporate images into an overview of his career, from his childhood interest in comics and the work of the cartoonists who influenced him to his current and future projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When<\/strong>: Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.<br>\n<strong>Registration<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/fass\/2021-munro-beattie-lecture\/\">https:\/\/carleton.ca\/fass\/2021-munro-beattie-lecture\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Seth<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seth\u2019s cartoons have appeared in the <em>New York Times Magazine<\/em>, <em>McSweeneys Quarterly<\/em> and on the cover of <em>The New Yorker<\/em>. He is the creator of the comic book series <em>Palookaville<\/em>. His other books include, <em>It\u2019s a Good Life if You Don\u2019t Weaken<\/em> (1996) and <em>The Great Northern Brotherhood of Canadian Cartoonists <\/em>(2011).
