The lead article by Carleton professor <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/polisci\/people\/aaron-ettinger\/\">Aaron Ettinger<\/a> titled <em>Rumors of restoration: Joe Biden\u2019s foreign policy and what it means for Canada<\/em>, asks the key question of whether Canada can expect an improvement in Canada\u2013U.S. relations in a post-Trump world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Articles by Ken Holland, Adam MacDonald and Tsuyoshi Kawasaki examine Canadian security and defence issues in the context of Canada\u2013China relations. Kari Robert\u2019s important piece looks closely at the Canada\u2013Russia relationship in the Arctic and lays out what should be done to enhance co-operation between the two states in the circumpolar region. An article on the relationship between populism and foreign policy by Philip Giurlando rounds out the issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About CFPJ<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Established in 1992, CFPJ is now Canada\u2019s leading journal of international affairs.
