He is also available to discuss the significance of Canada Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gentile\u2019s work is focused on the decline of democratic sentiment in the United States and Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Richard Nimijean<\/strong><strong><br>\n<\/strong>Instructor, School of Indigenous and Canadian&nbsp;Studies at Carleton University<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Email: <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:richard.nimijean@carleton.ca\">richard.nimijean@carleton.ca<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nimijean is available to discuss Canada\u2019s flag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has researched, written and taught in the areas of Canadian Studies, Canadian politics and public policy, regional innovation systems, science and technology policy, and scholarly communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He co-authored the article<em>, Marketing the Maple Leaf: The Curious Case of National Flag of Canada Day<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nimijean\u2019s research interests focus on national identity and the branding of Canada, the relationship between Canada\u2019s role as a global actor and the Canadian identity, and the politics of the brand state.
