He has an extremely robust and diverse research program that, interestingly as an Accounting professor and taxation expert, has Brouard researching well-beyond the accounting world. His research taps into an eclectic mix of topics including research in the governance of charities and non-profits; strategic intelligence of small to mid-size enterprises; the recruitment and life trajectories of accountants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nimijean is available to discuss issues of national identity, patriotism, human rights and how they connect in relation to the World Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nimijean\u2019s research interests focus on national identity and the branding of Canada, the relationship between Canada\u2019s role as a global actor and the Canadian identity, and the politics of the brand state. His current research and writing projects include cross-border perspectives on Canada\u2013U.S. relations and global issues from a Canadian perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rod Phillips<\/strong>

Phillips teaches courses on the history of alcohol in which he discusses Islam and alcohol. He is available to discuss the last-minute ban on alcohol at this year\u2019s World Cup and other related issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phillips writes a weekly wine column for the Ottawa Citizen<\/em> and the annual 500 BestValue Wines in the LCBO<\/em>, among other contributions to wine and alcohol-related publications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
