Steve Pomeroy<\/strong>
\nProfessor, School of Public Policy and Administration at Carleton University<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pomeroy is a housing policy research consultant and is widely recognized as one of Canada\u2019s leading housing policy experts. He has been an adviser to a number of national associations, municipalities, provinces, and territories. He is available to discuss elements related to the National Housing Strategy and initiatives to address housing affordability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1994, Pomeroy established Focus Consulting Inc. and has completed more than 130 reports, studies, and strategies covering socio-economic analysis, homelessness, housing policy, and financing issues. His work also includes a number of comparative studies examining housing systems across a range of countries, compared to Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stephen Saideman<\/strong>
\nPaterson Chair in International Affairs, Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saideman is available to discuss aspects of the budget related to defence spending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saideman\u2019s research interests focus on the causes and consequences of intervention in intra-state conflicts. His current research deals with the role of legislatures in democratic civil-military relations. He teaches courses on contemporary international security, civil-military relations, and United States foreign and defence policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kristen Schell<\/strong>

Schell is available to discuss clean technology, specifically wind, hydropower, solar, and nuclear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schell\u2019s research areas include wind power modelling and forecasting, power systems planning for negative emissions, strategic behaviour in electricity markets, renewable energy policy design, and design for the adoption of adaptable, modular microgrids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schell\u2019s current focus is on amplifying the share of electric power generated through renewable energy sources like wind power and overcoming the problems that the integration of these sources poses to system resource adequacy, reliability and resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
