David Carment<\/strong>

Carment is a series editor for Palgrave\u2019s Canada and International Affairs, editor of Canadian Foreign Policy Journal and fellow of the Canadian Global Affairs Institute. His research focuses on Canadian foreign policy, mediation and negotiation, fragile states and diaspora politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is the author, editor or co-editor of 21 books and has authored or co-authored over 90 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. His most recent books focus on diaspora cooperation, corruption in Canada, branding Canadian foreign policy and state fragility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fen Hampson<\/strong>

Hampson is co-chair of the Expert Group on Canada-US relations.  His research interests include Canadian foreign policy, internet governance, international organization, international negotiation, conflict resolution and analysis. Ian Lee<\/strong>
\nProfessor, Sprott School of Business at Carleton University<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lee is happy to discuss business in Canada, including economic growth, deficits, and the competitiveness of Canadian industries. Lee has appeared multiple times before the House of Commons and Senate finance, banking, industry and trade committees. He has been in every Government of Canada budget lockup since 2008. He attended pre-budget consultations with the Minister of Finance in 2009 and 2011. His work has appeared in the annual publication, How Ottawa Spends, concerning Canada\u2019s retirement system, the Parliamentary Budget Officer, deficits, corporate income reform, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stephen Saideman<\/strong>

Saideman is available to discuss Trump\u2019s impact on foreign affairs and defence policy, including NATO. His research interests focus on the causes and consequences of intervention in intra-state conflicts. His current research deals with the role of legislatures in democratic civil-military relations. He teaches courses on contemporary international security, civil-military relations, and United States foreign and defence policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eric Van Rythoven<\/strong>

Van Rythoven\u2019s research examines the intersection between emotion, international relations, and the politics of security. He is interested in what political emotions are, how they shape debates about security, and how they become sites of contestation in global politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He teaches a range of courses including Introduction to International Relations, Canadian Foreign Policy, the Globalization of Human Rights, Advanced International Relations Theory, Emotion and Images in International Politics, and Frontiers of Emotional Diplomacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conrad Winn<\/strong>

Winn has expertise in political communication, public opinion and political culture. His books include Political Parties in Canada, Broadcasting Policy, and House of Commons Reform. As a public opinion researcher, Winn has provided strategic counsel to Canadian media chains, individual newspapers, federal departments and provincial governments, as well as government agencies in the United States and United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winn is available to discuss polling, misinformation, inflation, affordability, income inequality, and the election in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
