On September 22nd, the Northern Studies graduate program at Carleton University held an inaugural event in the River Building (Richcraft Hall) (RB2224/28) . The seminar featured addresses from Peter Usher, one of Canada’s leading practitioners in indigenous-government renewable resource relations, and from Steve Kokelj, a leading scientist working for GNWT. Steve discussed how relations between universities and territorial governments may be best advanced to assist each other. Each address was followed by discussion stimulated by a panel invited from our University community.
