Carleton University recognizes the high cost of travel and expenses in the North. In-kind assistance is available to all<\/strong> students for NRTH 5008 to cover at least the costs of transportation and accommodation. Further details are available from the Program Supervisor.<\/p>\n

For full-time students<\/strong>, in-kind assistance is available with NRTH 5009 to cover most of the expenses.<\/p>\n

Full-time students in the Northern Studies program are eligible for Ontario Graduate Scholarships for Fall 2024. The student application deadline is November 15, 2023 and the referee deadline is December 1st, 2023.<\/p>\n

Students may also apply for internal scholarships and bursaries administered by the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs. These are competitive, and awarded in the Fall Term after beginning the program.<\/p>\n

The intensive nature of the one-year, full-time program does not permit students to hold a Teaching Assistantship concurrently with registration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
