NEW!!! The Introduction to International Energy and Natural Resource Infrastructure Protection Workshop

Created in response to COVID-19 restrictions, NPSIA-PT&D is pleased to announce the new Introduction to International Energy and Natural Resource Infrastructure Protection Workshop. This on-line program is a primer for our 4-day Professional Certificate in International Energy and Natural Resource Infrastructure Protection workshop presently scheduled for Spring 2021.  Offered for 4-hours each day, over 3-days, this workshop is designed to deliver the lecture and presentation material that makes up the core learning in the Professional Certificate workshop via video-conferencing/presentation and file-sharing.

This workshop focuses on the development of professional skills required to effectively practice the protection of national and international energy and natural resource infrastructure.   In particular, it is designed for professionals who are responsible for the protection of physical, linear, networked assets that include hydro-electric distribution, oil and gas pipeline, fibre-optics and road and rail systems.

Upon completion of this workshop participants will receive a certificate of participation and credit for further study in a future offering of either an on-line, Introduction Part 2 workshop or the full, 4-day Professional Certificate in International Energy and Natural Resource Infrastructure Protection program.  The latter may be delivered in-person, on-line or as a hybrid of the former pending Government of Ontario and City of Ottawa public health notices, and the relevant policies in place by Carleton University.
