These concerns, however, are often not matched with the organizational funding, awareness and support a security professional might expect. Security leaders are often impeded in their efforts to build their insider risk program; limited resources, competing corporate interests, siloed org. charts and reactive security approaches will stand in the way of a single, cohesive, holistic approach. This workshop will help participants overcome these challenges. The proper integration of an insider risk program into an organizational culture has the potential to enhance and strengthen all aspects of an organization. This workshop will equip participants to lead that integration process with an insider risk program uniquely tailored to their industry and organizational culture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Learning objectives of the workshop<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 broadened understanding of insider risk from a practical, organizational and operational perspective,<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 deeper appreciation for the cultural, fiscal, organizational and operational barriers to insider risk discussions,<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 broadened awareness of strategic and operational partners that can become allies in developing an insider risk program,<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 skillsets to communicate insider risk to different corporate and client audiences,<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 strategy development to ensure the long-term success of a nascent insider risk program.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Our featured Instructor:\u00a0\u00a0Paul Huston <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Huston has been engaged for over 30 years in the fields of security, business continuity and risk management. After serving domestically and overseas with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and British Security Service (MI5), Mr. Huston went on to lead corporate security and business continuity programs within VIA Rail, Lowes \/ RONA, and BGIS (as Global CSO). He has taught and presented to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), CSIS, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and ASIS International \u2013 as well as other industry and security organizations.
