NPSIA-PT&D is very pleased to announce the next offerings of our Manager’s\u00a0Certificate in International-Critical Infrastructure Protection, Pipeline and Linear Network Security program in cooperation with HPI \u2013 Hugh A. Palmer, Inc. from April 13-17, 2015 in Istanbul, Turkey.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>DATES:<\/strong> Monday\u00a0April 13\u00a0to Friday\u00a0April 17, 2015<\/p>\n

Location:<\/strong> The Crowne Plaza – Old City, Istanbul Turkey<\/p>\n

Fee:\u00a0 <\/strong>$3500 CAD \/ USD\u00a0 + $295 CAD \/ USD for those wishing to take the PSS Part 1 qualification exam on March 28, 2015.<\/p>\n

What is the Manager’s\u00a0Certificate in International-Critical Infrastructure Protection, Pipeline\u00a0and Linear Network Security program?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Designed to develop professional skills in protecting national and international Critical Infrastructures, with a focus on pipeline networks and their associated facilities, this workshop is being offered in conjunction with HPI\u2019s\u00a0industry recognized\u00a0Pipeline Security Specialist\u2122 Program.<\/p>\n

The Manager’s Certificate is an intensive 5-day\u00a0version of the\u00a0PSS Part 1, Academic workshop, delivered in\u00a0lecture and team project format for Oil and Gas pipeline design, operations and security Managers.<\/p>\n

Participants complete the program with the\u00a0Manager’s Certificate in International-Critical Infrastructure Protection,\u00a0Pipeline Security\u00a0 and also qualify for \u00a0the HPI-PSS Part 1 certificate of advancement toward\u00a0the Pipeline Security Specialist \u2122 credential.<\/p>\n

2) Adversary Assessment & Methodology<\/p>\n

3) The Pipeline Security Specialist\u2122 Team Concept<\/p>\n

4) Specialized Techniques for Pipeline Network Protection<\/p>\n

5) Investigative Techniques for Pipeline Security Incidents<\/p>\n

Participants are mentored and evaluated throughout the duration of the workshop by the HPI training team.<\/p>\n

The training team introduces the\u00a0Pipeline Security Specialist\u2122 Team Concept to provide candidates with specialized techniques for identifying key assets and vulnerable locations, recognizing adversary target assessment and attack methodology,\u00a0responding to incidents,\u00a0collecting Incident Scene Data and conducting incident\u00a0\u00a0location\u00a0analysis.<\/p>\n
