You are invited to the launch of Reflections of Canada: Illuminating our Biggest Possibilities and Challenges at 150 Years, Friday, June 23, 2017 at 6:00 pm, at the Beaumont Gallery, 316 W 5th Ave, Vancouver.

This book is a major initiative led by the Peter Wall Institute to bring together Canada’s leading writers, researchers, and public intellectuals in a discussion of Canada’s past and future on the eve of the 150th year since Confederation.  Reflections of Canada’s myriad perspectives invite Canadians to recognize their own experiences, and form their own opinions around major topics explored in headlines and gathering spaces across the country.   Accompanying the essays are beautiful photographs taken by photographers from across Canada. The event will feature selected readings by several authors, a photo exhibit and lively discussion, with refreshments, cash bar, and book signing.  Book copies will be available for purchase. Please register for this event online by 9:00 am, Friday June 16. Registration at: https://reflections-of-canada.eventbrite.ca

Hope to see many of you there!
