What I enjoyed most about NPSIA on campus, was without a doubt the negotiation courses. Off-campus, I most enjoyed the interesting group of driven, ambitious people I met and befriended – some of whom I still talk to almost every day.
My studies at NPSIA helped get me where I am today because the negotiation courses I took were foundational to how I conduct my current career as a private practice lawyer. Every lawyer needs to negotiate, now more than ever! I rely on those skills every single day. And even if I’m not in an international-based field, my studies at NPSIA have encouraged me to step back and look at the bigger picture.
In my current job position, I am an associate lawyer with PKF Lawyers in Manitoba. I have a general practice of residential real estate, wills & estates, litigation, and immigration.
