Join us for an employer information session with representatives from the Department of National Defence\u2019s<strong> Policy Officer Recruitment Programme (PORP)<\/strong>. The PORP is a three-year professional development program designed to recruit and develop talented individuals from entry to working-level in the Policy Group at the Department of National Defence. The PORP is designed to provide participants with the experience, knowledge, and competencies required to emerge as well-rounded and effective Defence Policy Officers. Students will have the opportunity to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Learn about the program and its structure;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hear directly from PORP representatives about their experiences and insights; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ask questions about the application process, eligibility, and tips for success.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you&#8217;re simply curious about defence policy or planning to apply this year, this session offers a valuable inside look at how the PORP can launch your career in defence policy.<br><br><strong>We anticipate the competition will open in October<\/strong>.
