Born in Nigeria and raised across three countries—Nigeria, the United States, and Canada—Eunice developed an interest in the complexities of international systems and country-to-country relations. This led her to pursue a Political Science degree with a minor in Transitional Justice and Post-Conflict Reconstruction at Western University, focusing on the causes of war, peacekeeping history, and rebuilding societies after conflict. Naturally, this path brought her to NPSIA to deepen her knowledge in conflict analysis, peacebuilding, and foreign policy.

At NPSIA, Eunice enjoyed the program’s flexibility, allowing her to explore courses beyond her primary research area and gain a well-rounded understanding of international affairs. This unique approach provided her with valuable insights and skills that she can apply to her research and professional work.

Eunice’s time at NPSIA was filled with remarkable opportunities. A highlight was her co-op term at Global Affairs Canada, where she worked on trade negotiations, gaining hands-on experience in policy writing and international diplomacy. Additionally, her exchange semester at SciencesPo in Paris broadened her global perspective, allowing her to engage with a diverse faculty and student body. In Paris, she also interviewed notable figures like Agnes Kalibata, Rwanda’s former Minister of Agriculture.

As she begins her post-graduation journey, Eunice has already secured a contract at the Ministry of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship in Cabinet Affairs. Looking ahead, she plans to work with international organizations and NGOs, using her expertise to make a meaningful impact in international development and conflict resolution.

[33

post-213","cu_people","type-cu_people","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","cu_people_type-2024-spring-grads
["GET
