His work spans Africa, Europe, and Canada, where he has led high\u2011impact research initiatives at the intersection of economic governance, financial stability, international trade, entrepreneurship, and social innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has directed major multi\u2011country studies on entrepreneurship ecosystems, monetary cooperation, trade integration, and gender\u2011responsive economic reforms. His work has informed national and regional policy debates and has supported institutional capacity\u2011building efforts in fragile and emerging economies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jean C\u00e9dric has collaborated with a wide range of international partners, including GIZ, the Templeton Foundation, IDRC, the Open Society Foundations, and several African central banks and ministries. His research has contributed to reforms in fiscal policy, monetary governance, business climate improvement, and inclusive economic development. He has also played a central role in initiatives aimed at strengthening think tanks, enhancing evidence ecosystems, and supporting innovation\u2011driven entrepreneurship across sub\u2011Saharan Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His academic publications appear in leading journals such as the <em>Journal of African Business<\/em>, <em>Development Southern Africa<\/em>, the <em>Journal of Knowledge Economy<\/em>, the <em>Journal of Economic Studies<\/em>, and the <em>International Journal of Innovation Studies<\/em>. He has authored numerous policy reports and briefs on macroeconomic stability, fiscal transition, financial inclusion, gender equality, and sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier in his career, he held senior research and leadership positions in economic policy institutes and served as a research fellow in both academic and central banking environments. He also taught for several years at the Sub\u2011Regional Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics in Central Africa, contributing to the training of the next generation of economists and policy analysts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jean C\u00e9dric holds a PhD in Economics (Monetary and Financial Macroeconomics) and advanced degrees in mathematical economics and econometrics.
