He has previous experience working at other federal government departments, including the Department of Finance and Global Affairs Canada. He is also a former managing editor for the <em>Canadian Foreign Policy Journal<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sam is a Ph.D. graduate from NPSIA where he studied international migrant remittances, specifically remittance channel selection.
