A student with a thirst for knowledge not only in the social sciences but also in the natural sciences, Yassen seeks to bridge disciplinary gaps of knowledge with his interdisciplinary approach to help improve the lives of the poorest, the most vulnerable and the most marginalized of the world. This has led him to develop a strong background in international affairs, public policy, as well as in the environmental and health sciences.
