NPSIA is thrilled to recognize Luke Kline<\/strong>, an MA\/JD candidate, for receiving the William and Jeanie Barton Award in Disarmament, Arms Control, and Non-Proliferation<\/strong><\/a>. This prestigious award is presented annually to a graduate student conducting research in International Security, Arms Control, or Disarmament<\/strong> and aims to foster education and dialogue in these critical areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luke earned this recognition for his exceptional work in Professor Michael Manulak<\/a>\u2019s<\/strong> Disarmament, Arms Control, and Non-Proliferation<\/em><\/a> course. His briefing note, written from the perspective of an advisor within the Department of Defence, analyzed the risks and benefits of Canada entering negotiations with the United States on a potential Canada-US<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
