This year\u2019s fellows are exploring immersive technologies\u2014including digital storytelling, mixed reality, simulations and 360\u2011degree video\u2014to address pedagogical challenges and strengthen student engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Among the recipients is Professor Lama Mourad of the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, whose project will introduce a fully immersive, narrative\u2011driven simulation into her course. Designed to give students structured, experiential practice with negotiation and collaboration, the simulation places learners inside the politically complex dynamics of global negotiations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>A key feature of Mourad\u2019s project is the integration of AI \u201cDeputies\u201d that generate real\u2011time prompts, counterarguments and narrative developments. These adaptive elements will challenge students to think critically, respond strategically and reflect deeply on their decision\u2011making.
