The School of Nursing was pleased to welcome the Honourable Nolan Quinn, Ontario\u2019s Minister of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security, to Carleton University\u2019s Clinical Skills and Simulation Lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, School of Nursing Director Danielle Manley introduced Minister Quinn to Carleton\u2019s nursing program and shared how simulation-based learning is integrated into nursing education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jo and Melanie also led a simulation demonstration, providing a closer look at how students practise clinical skills, strengthen decision-making and build confidence in a safe and controlled environment before working with real patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
