tax loopholes and incentives related to charitable donations. In <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/panl\/editors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Susan Phillips<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/panl\/2021\/number-1-policy-issue-for-canadas-philanthropic-charitable-sector\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">informal survey of 68 sector leaders<\/a> in Canada, she found that 40% of respondents here wanted Canada to modernize the regulatory framework for charities, including an overhaul of the Income Tax Act.
