\"\"<\/a> “Are Canada\u2019s Charities Ready for Digital Transformation?”<\/a> This is the title of CanadaHelps’ newest data-driven report — and the short answer is no. Based on a survey of 1,400 charities in Canada, the report provides baseline data on charities’ unreadiness for digital tools and on the barriers they face in digital adoption. It shows that charities are ill-prepared to respond to the digital expectations of Canadians and that they lack both the funding and skills necessary to maintain relevancy. Highlighting the profound implications for the sustainability and impact of the sector, the report calls for urgent investment by funders and governments.
