Garfield Emerson became the Faculty\u2019s first<br \/>\nexecutive-in-residence.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Emerson\u2019s extensive experience in law, business and finance, makes him an invaluable resource to faculty and students seeking insight on legal issues, leadership, and corporate governance.<\/p>\n<p>He brings to this role a varied and distinguished career, having served as<br \/>\nnational chair of Fasken Martineau, LL P, a leading international business law firm. He was also president and CE O of NM Rothschild &amp; Sons Canada, Ltd. , director of the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation and The Sunnybrook Foundation, chairman of the Board of Rogers Communications,<br \/>\nInc., and Victoria University\u2019s Capital Campaign at the University of Toronto.
