Angela Winder

Assistant Director, Operations and Responsible Investing

Angela leads the PFM office’s initiatives on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters, global tax, audit, and corporate/regulatory compliance. With over 15 years of experience in the banking industry, Angela has held positions as a credit officer, bank manager, treasury officer, and internal auditor.

Angela is a proud Carleton University graduate where she earned a BA Political Science conc. International Relations. She holds a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA)® designation from the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI) and is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).  Angela joined Carleton in 2006 and has been with PFM since 2013.

In addition to her academic achievements, Angela has obtained several specialized certificates, including ‘The Osgoode Certificate in Pension Law’ and ‘ESG, Climate Risk & The Law’ both from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. She has also completed numerous courses with the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI) and the CFA Institute.
Angela’s volunteer work includes serving as a Board member of the Pension Investment Association of Canada (PIAC), coaching competitive soccer for 25 years, and making history as the first-ever female Head Coach in the Gloucester Rangers Hockey Association.
