The project explores the \u201cCapability Approach\u201d to public policy and political philosophy, introduced by Nobel laureate Amartya Sen. Central to this approach is the idea that social progress or advancement are best conceived in terms of expanding people\u2019s freedoms to live well. The funded project aims to build on this concept, adding elements of conceptual analysis, moral epistemology, and strategic priorities.
