Library Accessibility Services (previously Transcription Services), located in the MacOdrum Library, works to provide equitable access to library resources and services.

Alternative Formats

Some students require alternate formats of their textbooks and course materials in order to fully participate in their courses, for disability-related reasons. A referral for this service must be made by the PMC.

Students who have been referred by the PMC can make their requests directly, via the transcription request form.

The New Sun Joy Maclaren Centre

The New Sun Joy Maclaren Adaptive Technology Centre (JMC) provides quiet and private study spaces where students will find various assistive technologies, white noise machines, fidget toys, SAD lamps and colouring books for some stress relief.

A referral from the PMC is required in order to access the JMC. Reservations are required to use a space in the JMC.

Students who have been referred to the JMC can find a full list of available rooms, hardware and software offerings, and reserve a time slot via the JMC webpage (linked above).
