How do you conduct ethical research involving human participants?

There is no doubt that human participation in research has been invaluable to researchers, but how do we protect those participants and how do we ensure that research is ethical?

This presentation will introduce you to research ethics in Canada and how Carleton University upholds and follows the guidelines of the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans, 2nd. Edition (TCPS2).

You will be introduced the language and concepts of human research ethics and how an ethics protocol is prepared and reviewed.
