A permanent disability is defined by OSAP as a functional limitation that is caused by a physical or mental impairment that restricts a person&#8217;s ability to perform the daily activities necessary to participate in studies at the post-secondary level or in the labour force, and that is expected to remain with him or her for his or her expected natural life.
