\n Unmasking the Transition to University: PMC Low-Sensory Orientation\n <\/h1>\n \n \n \n\n

Unmasking the Transition to University<\/strong> is designed to help new students gradually and confidently transition into campus life through a supportive, low\u2011sensory environment. This event offers opportunities to learn about core university systems, connect with peers, and hear directly from staff, faculty and upper\u2011year students.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/header>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Unmasking the Transition to University will take place in parallel with the general PMC Orientation happening on campus that morning<\/strong>, allowing students to sample different orientation experiences if they wish. Students are also very welcome to remain with us for the entire day, with all Unmasking sessions taking place together in our designated space upstairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants are encouraged to engage at their own comfort level, take breaks as needed, and move between sessions in a way that works best for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event may be helpful for students with disabilities such as autism, social anxiety, non\u2011verbal learning disabilities, or disabilities that impact communication, group work, or social interaction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
