During peak midterm season (for example, two weeks before\/after reading week\/fall break) and the larger formal examination periods in December or April, other locations (e.g., Southam Hall, Tory, etc.) may be used to accommodate the large number of students.<\/p>\n\n\n        <\/dd>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n    <div class=\"grid pt-4 pb-3 border-b accordion border-cu-black-100 md:pt-6 md:pb-5 first:border-t\">\n        <dt class=\"font-semibold not-prose\">\n            <button class=\"flex items-center justify-between w-full text-left accordion__button\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"accordion-i-have-not-written-an-in-person-test-or-exam-in-a-while-what-can-i-do-to-ensure-i-have-a-good-experience\">\n                <span class=\"flex-1 ml-auto text-left break-words whitespace-normal cu-icon\">\n                    I have not written an in-person test or exam in a while. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your official start time. Please note that University regulation prohibits students from entering an exam location 30 minutes after the start of a formal exam.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Become familiar with the location of your test or exam in advance. Use the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/campus\/map\/\">Campus Map<\/a>&nbsp;to research the best route to the location either through the outdoor pathway or the tunnel system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check your accommodations are accurate on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ventus.carleton.ca\/student\/\">Ventus Student Portal<\/a>&nbsp;before the test or exam. The proctor will be supporting you during the exam.
