This is an opportunity for students to see how the technical and political aspects of governance come together using different kinds of data and information. Apart from lectures and class exercises we are planning to have presentations by senior decision makers and analysts. Students will write papers directed at informing decision makers in certain types of contexts.
This course is taught by Scott Edward Bennett who has worked in all areas of data use in every major policy area. His experience and teaching span 5 decades.
