“Since completing my graduate studies at Carleton University, I have been quite busy working at the RCMP as a policy analyst in what I can fortunately say is my dream job. Completing a MA opened many doors for me, both in terms of my career development and professional networking.
Throughout my studies, I was constantly amazed at the diversity of the field, as well as the quality of the professors I have had the privilege to study under. My journey at Carleton has also given me the pleasure of meeting and working with some of the brightest upcoming minds in the field, many of whom I am fortunate enough to consider friends. I also cannot express enough how my graduate studies have helped me develop my critical thinking, analytical and writing skills.
In addition to work, I have been heavily invested into my favourite hobby, reading! I encourage everyone to read as much as they can about whatever subject interests them the most.”
My parting advice to any student starting their own journey is to always pursue knowledge, build real connections and never give up!
