Paul Wilson (PhD Queen’s University 1994) joined the Carleton’s Riddell Graduate Program in Political Management in 2011 after having served as Director of Policy in the Prime Minister’s Office (2009-2011), as senior policy advisor to three other federal ministers (2006-2009), and previously as Director of Research to the Leader of the Opposition (1997-2001). His research interests include the role of political staffers, cabinet and the core executive, and broadly parliamentary practice including caucus structure. He teaches PSCI 4010/5010: Executive Power in Canada.
