Taylor is a student of Political Theory and Canadian Politics.
His research examines the role of nature in informing our politics. The scientific objective of the mastery of nature and claims for its progression forward in German idealist philosophy are the subjects of his research. He looks to the subsequent critique of technology in the early twentieth century finding a reception of German-idealist technological legacies. How this transition continues to frame our thinking about nature and technology, is the focus of his dissertation, which is guided by Professor Newell.
Other research interests include ancient and modern political theory, philosophy of technology, and Canadian political thought.
Taylor holds a Master of Arts in Political Theory from Brock University. He also holds an HBA in Political Science and a BA in Economics from Lakehead University.
