SUMMARY:Taiwan’s 2024 Elections and their Aftermath: Between Ontology and Relationality
DESCRIPTION:Public Talk with Max Wu, Carleton University

With the ongoing war in Ukraine and the increasing rivalry between the United States and the People’s Republic of China, Taiwan’s 2024 presidential and legislative elections on January 13 have attracted much international attention. The election results could have far-reaching impacts on global politics and development. This talk will make sense of the elections and will provide an opportunity to discuss their implications.
