Lisa Gunn<\/strong>
\nPublic Engagement Officer \u2013 Policy, Campaigns, and Communications Department, Oxfam Canada<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lisa Gunn is from Nova Scotia (Mi\u2019kma\u2019ki) and currently lives on unceded Anishnabe Algonquin territory, or so-called Ottawa. She joined Oxfam Canada in December 2021 and currently is their Public Engagement Officer. She\u2019s worked at the International Development Research Centre, WUSC, and Global Affairs Canada and did internships in Ghana and Vietnam. Outside of work, Lisa can be found organizing for climate justice and wealth redistribution, and hanging with friends at trivia or the movies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lisa holds a BA (HONS) (2014) Development Studies \u2013 St. Francis Xavier University and an MA (2019) International Development and Feminist Studies \u2013 University of Ottawa<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kathleen Walsh<\/strong>
\nLead Public Affairs Counsellor, Compass Rose<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With over a decade of experience advising non-profits and businesses, Kathleen brings her crisis management and government relations skills to clients in federally regulated sectors like maritime employers, regional airlines, and telecommunications, as well as agri-food, higher education, and creative industries. Kathleen holds a Bachelor\u2019s in Public Affairs and Policy Management and a Master\u2019s in Development Studies from the London School of Economics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management, Carleton University, and a Masters of Science, Development Studies, London School of Economics and Political Science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nBlake Barkley<\/strong>
\na\/Senior Analyst for Operational Solutions in the Operations, Planning and Performance Branch (OPPB) at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Blake Barkley is currently an a\/Senior Analyst with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) where he provides briefings and strategic advice regarding the Department\u2019s operational capacity, priorities, and performance. Prior to this role, he assessed and reported on irregular migration trends, risks, and business intelligence for IRCC\u2019s international Missions. Dr. Barkley completed his PhD in Political Science at Carleton University in February 2022. His research focused on the cross-section of national asylum policies and local politics in Kenya, his dissertation was titled: \u201cRevisiting the Politics of Asylum in Africa: Explaining Kenya\u2019s Sub-National Policy Variation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blake holds a PhD (2022) in Political Science from Carleton University and a MA (2015) in Military and Strategic Studies from the University of Calgary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
