She obtained her PhD at the University of Oxford (2017), completed postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Toronto (2017-2019) and University of Oxford (2019-2021) and was an Assistant Professor in Comparative Politics at the University of Reading (2021-2023). She has taught courses in the areas of Comparative Politics, US Politics, British Politics, Gender Studies and Quantitative Methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her research interests lie with the comparative study of elections, with a particular focus on how attitudes about gender and gender roles shape voting behaviour, candidate selection and policy preferences. Her current academic work focuses on understanding public preferences on parental leave, in Canada and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her work has been published in journals such as <em>Comparative Political Studies, the British Journal of Political Science <\/em>and <em>the Canadian Journal of Political Science<\/em>.
