Once a time-ticket has activated for registration it will remain active until the last day to register in January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your ability to register in a Political Science course will require that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your time-ticket has opened according to the University schedule.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have the necessary year standing for the course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have completed the course prerequisites, as indicated in the course descriptions found in the <a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/undergrad\/courses\/PSCI\/\">Undergraduate Calendar<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is space available in the course you are attempting to register into.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"space-in-courses-that-are-full\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Space in Courses That Are Full<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Many PSCI courses have wait lists that will be activated when the course is full. If the course you wish to register in has a waitlist and you meet all the registration requirements and prerequisites for the course, you will have access to the wait list via <a href=\"https:\/\/central.carleton.ca\/prod\/env_util.p_central_main\">Carleton Central.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For courses that do not have waitlists, please monitor Carleton Central frequently in case space becomes available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"registration-override-requests\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registration Override Requests<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Students seeking permission to register in a course for which they lack the required year-standing or prerequisites may submit a registration request via the \u201cRegistration Override Request\u201d feature located under the \u201cAdd or Drop Classes\u201d page on Carleton Central. Please note that submitting a request does not guarantee space in courses. You may only submit one request per course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have non-Carleton equivalents for prerequisite courses you will be required to provide supporting documentation (i.e., transcripts and\/or course descriptions for evaluation purposes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All email correspondence to the Undergraduate Advising Office must come from your Carleton email account.
