These issues include war and peace, reform and revolution, security and foreign and defence policy, trade and finance, poverty and development, democracy and authoritarianism, human rights and wrongs, struggles over gender, race, class, ethnicity, and Indigeneity, migration, climate change, and others.<br>\nTo understand these issues, students explore the theory and practice of political power and political economy, state and civil society, ideas and ideologies, institutions and governance, culture and identity, media and technology, citizenship and non-citizenship, and political parties and social movements.
