New publication by PhD candidate Alex Rudolph “Digital Transformation and Pan-Domain: The CAF\u2019s Quiet Revolution in Military Affairs<\/a>” <\/span> The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) is currently undergoing a significant digital transformation, surpassing even NORAD modernization in scope and v. These efforts align with developing the CAF’s ability to conduct pan-domain command and control, which is critical to maintaining Canada’s defence relationship with the United States. Inspired by the United States\u2019 CJADC2 (Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control), the CAF aims to create a unified cloud-based network, leverage data analytics, and employ artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI\/ML) for information superiority as the foundation to revolutionize how Canada’s military operates. These changes require organizational adjustments, professional development, recruitment, training, and policy reforms. Ultimately, this quiet revolution in military affairs enhances the CAF\u2019s capabilities and strengthens Canada\u2019s relationships with allies.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
