The papers critically assess populist rhetoric, conspiracy movements, and settler-class consciousness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Panel 2:<\/strong>\u00a0Digital spaces mediate political, social, and economic relations in ways that extend beyond traditional structures of power. This panel explores the tensions between digital control and liberation, questioning whether online technologies serve as tools of empowerment or entrapment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Panel 3: <\/strong>How can we move beyond an alienated relationship with nature? This panel explores philosophical and legal perspectives on nature\u2019s rights, from critical theory to Indigenous legal traditions, offering insights into ecological justice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Panel 4:<\/strong>\u00a0Exploring the intersections of migration, citizenship, and resistance, this panel highlights how individuals and communities assert their identities in response to exclusion and cultural expectations which distort them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Panel 5:<\/strong>\u00a0From digital frontlines to revolutionary hauntings, this panel examines alienation as both a condition of crisis and a catalyst for resistance, asking: what futures can be reclaimed from the wreckage of capitalism and colonialism?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inspirational keynote address<\/strong>\u00a0from:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dr. Rebecca Schein, an Associate Professor for the Institute of Interdisciplinary Studies and cross-appointed with the Institute of Political Economy and the Department of Sociology, has a broad spectrum of research interests.
