Our conference is scheduled to take place on March 2, 2018. The title of this year\u2019s conference is <b>\u201cLearning to forget, learning to remember: rethinking silence in space, place and memory\u201d<\/b>. The title reflects the conference\u2019s interest in exploring the intersections of space, place and memory and the use of silence as a tool of maintaining and disrupting ideas of power and belonging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We hope to attract papers from MA and PhD students in a variety of disciplines. Submissions of abstracts should be no more than 300 words and are due by January 10th, 2018.
