Joseph is the Head of Public Affairs at Liverpool City Council, leading relations between the City, Westminster and Whitehall.<\/p>\n
Previously, Joseph served as Head of Public Affairs for Lancaster University in Lancaster, United Kingdom and was Manager, Public Affairs (Federal) with McMaster University, where he oversaw the institution\u2019s federal government relations activities.<\/p>\n
Prior to taking up this position, Joseph served as a Senior Consultant at NATIONAL Public Relations, where he was the leading hand with the government relations team, as they develop and executed government affairs strategies for a wide range of clients.<\/p>\n
Joseph spent two years spent as a government relations professional in London, UK where he was responsible for developing strategy and undertaking government relations activities for a not-for-profit professional organization. This provided him with opportunities to deal with wide ranging issues facing Great Britain, including Brexit, skills, and productivity, as well as the chance to experience a British election.<\/p>\n
The Masters of Political Management program equipped me with the skills and talents necessary to excel in my field. It allowed me to take my passion for politics and turn it into a career I love. Learning from a range of practitioners, from across the political spectrum, provided me with a solid foundation upon which to expand my knowledge, and gain new capabilities. In addition to broadening my network, and meeting highly influential people, the program allowed me to gain lifelong friends and trusted colleagues.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
