Sarah is the Manager of Federal Government Relations at the Canadian Bankers Association (CBA), where she advocates on a range of files affecting the banking sector.<\/p>\n
Prior to joining the CBA, Sarah was a member of the Public Affairs team at Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), and provided strategic and integrated government relations and communications advice to clients across sectors including health and wellness, financial and professional services, technology, transportation, and tourism. During her time at H+K, Sarah provided regular counsel to clients on establishing and growing government relationships, building grassroots support for public policy objectives, and navigating the business-to-government (B2G) process.<\/p>\n
Sarah has also previously worked in government relations at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, where she advocated for the priorities of Canada\u2019s municipal order of government and gained experience working on policy files such as infrastructure, transit, and housing affordability. Prior to this, Sarah completed her MPM practicum placement at spark*advocacy, as well as a co-op placement in the constituency office of the Honourable Catherine McKenna, former Member of Parliament for Ottawa Centre.<\/p>\n
Sarah is a trained public participation (P2) practitioner, certified by the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2). She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Studies from Queen\u2019s University.<\/p>\n
