She has developed and managed digital advertising and communications campaigns for federal and provincial political candidates, advocacy organizations, and major national brands, helping organizations navigate complex policy environments and communicate effectively with the audiences that matter most.

Prior to her agency leadership roles, Megan served in the federal government as a ministerial staffer supporting Cabinet Ministers responsible for International Trade and Innovation, Science and Economic Development. That experience provided firsthand insight into how government develops policy, makes decisions, and engages with stakeholders across sectors.

Today, Megan advises organizations on the practical application of artificial intelligence, digital strategy, and data-informed decision-making. Through her consultancy, Real Signal, she helps public affairs teams and organizational leaders build the governance, capabilities, and strategic frameworks needed to adopt AI responsibly and effectively.

As an instructor at Carleton University, Megan brings together real-world experience from government, political campaigns, agency leadership, and organizational strategy to help students understand how digital communications, public affairs, and emerging technologies are reshaping the practice of communications and public policy.

I believe that the MPM program gave me the unique confidence to utilize my love of politics to find a job I really love, and work with a wide variety of people to develop and craft interesting key narratives and strong political strategy.
