Research done as part of the &#8216;Triangular Hate&#8217; project complements the Populist Publics project (supported by the SSHRC and the SSRC), which focuses exclusively on groups and issues based in Canada and the United States.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"fr-CA\">\u00ab&nbsp;<i>Triangular Hate<\/i>&nbsp;\u00bb, un projet&nbsp;<i>Populist Projects&nbsp;<\/i>examinant la d\u00e9formation du souvenir historique par les r\u00e9seaux transatlantiques de&nbsp;<b>l\u2019extr\u00eame-<\/b>droite, est rendu laur\u00e9at d\u2019une bourse importante du Programme de contributions en mati\u00e8re de citoyennet\u00e9 num\u00e9rique du D\u00e9partement du patrimoine canadien.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"fr-CA\">\u00ab&nbsp;<i>Triangular Hate: digital memory, disinformation, and transnational traffic between Germany, the US, and Canada<\/i>,&nbsp;\u00bb le titre complet du projet&nbsp;<b>(traduction: Haine triangulaire&nbsp;: souvenir num\u00e9rique, d\u00e9sinformation et \u00e9changes transatlantiques entre l\u2019Allemagne, les \u00c9tats-Unis et le Canada&nbsp;\u00bb),&nbsp;<\/b>met l\u2019accent sur un \u00e9l\u00e9ment en particulier du discours pernicieux&nbsp;: une d\u00e9formation consciencieuse et de mauvaise foi du souvenir historique (parlant entre autres du refus de reconna\u00eetre la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 de l\u2019Holocauste; de la promulgation d&#8217;arguments \u00ab&nbsp;civilisationnels&nbsp;\u00bb fond\u00e9s sur une hostilit\u00e9 anti-musulmane; et la construction de fantaisies d\u2019h\u00e9ritage et d\u2019histoire fauss\u00e9es au nom de sentiment misogyne, anti-f\u00e9ministe, homophobe, transphobe, raciste ou autrement intol\u00e9rant) minant les piliers d\u00e9j\u00e0 fragiles d\u2019\u00e9galitarisme, de multiculturalisme et d\u2019internationalisme se trouvant au centre de la d\u00e9mocratie lib\u00e9rale.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"fr-CA\">Le projet observe les communications de groupes populistes se trouvant dans les pays mentionn\u00e9s, analysant les changements dans leur langage et dans leur audience afin d\u2019en comprendre l\u2019effet sur le genre, le discours haineux, la technologie sociale et le souvenir historique.
