To All Members of the Carleton Community,

This year, Carleton is celebrating its fourth annual Thrive Week from Jan. 29 to Feb. 2.

Thrive Week is a campus-wide initiative focused on promoting positive mental health through a variety of activities and events for faculty, staff and students.

Originally started at the University of British Columbia, Carleton University is one of a number of Canadian universities to adopt Thrive Week as a way to get our campus community thinking and talking about mental health, and discovering new skills and resources to help us thrive all year long.

To hear more about how members of our campus community are thriving, please view this video.

A number of activities are planned, including a special event with guest speaker and elite Canadian hockey player, Kendra Fisher, in honour of Bell Let’s Talk Day on Jan. 31.

I encourage you to view the schedule of events on the Thrive website at: https://carleton.ca/thrive/.

Together, we are building a thriving community.

Yours sincerely,

Alastair J.S. Summerlee
President and Vice-Chancellor
